In April, Jon’s Mercedes was taken out by a catastrophic engine failure. I found a Toyota Tacoma in San Diego and purchased it from a man who only spoke Spanish. My father and I restored it in less than a month. The truck has survived two 1500 mile journeys and is still going strong.
